R3L Engineering is looking for an entry level engineering candidate to join our team. Position is for a field engineer preferably located in north or central Alabama. The role will require >50% travel primarily within southeastern United States. Field work is hands on, working independently or with a team to solve customer problems. Engineer will be required to coordinate and manage workload across multiple projects. This is a Field Engineering job where greater than 50% of your time will be at customer sites, not in an office behind a desk working 9 to 5.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Perform acceptance testing on a broad range of electrical power delivery equipment

· Design control/protection upgrades to existing customer equipment

· Troubleshoot faulted/damaged equipment to determine root cause of failure

· Design and compose electrical drawings for both new and system upgrades

· Compile detailed customer reports

Eligibility Requirements:

· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

· Candidate must have a valid driver’s license

· Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization Desired Characteristics: · Strong organization and excellent time management skills

· Self-starter and self-driven

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Project management skills

· Ability to work in AutoCAD and other engineering tools

· Proficient in MS Office suite of applications
